Lead Teacher

Tracey Cotterell is our outreach and inreach lead teacher.  This role involves supporting all our practitioners at the Children Centre (inreach), and providing support for all Early Years settings in our reach area (outreach).  See below for reach area.

 

Tracey works with private, voluntary and independent nursery settings, childminders and teachers in nursery classes and reception classes.  This support includes:

 

  • Supporting our own setting with developing provision
  • Leading the Forest School team at our Centre
  • Working as the Designated Lead Teacher for any children in care at the Centre
  • Visiting settings in our reach area to support them in developing their provision
  • Delivering a range of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions- please see North Network Training link for more information on current CPD sessions
  • Facilitating cluster meetings
  • Offering regular support to childminders through our childminder support group
  • Offering support as a mentor for settings using the Bristol Standards
  • Working as a validator for Bristol Standards
