Children In Need this Friday. CLASH YOUR CLOTHES. Please wear anything that clashes to support Children In Need. We have refurbished all our rooms. Have a look and let us know what you think. Thank you for completing our latest questionnaire. Have a look at the results of this on our display at the Centre, and how we plan to improve our Centre, which includes more Forest School activities, and more stay and play activities.

Welcome to Badock's Wood Children's Centre

I hope that this website will help you to find the information you require about our nursery provision and our family support services.  If you can't find the information you need here, please contact us.

I have worked as the Centre Lead and Lead Teacher since 2014 and in this short time, I have seen our Centre grow and develop.  We pride ourselves on high quality education and childcare and this was recognised in our latest Ofsted report:

"Staff provide a wide range of stimulating activities which keep children challenged and interested in what is on offer to extend their learning."

This 'Good' Ofsted report reflects the hard work that happens every day at the Centre, and was possible because we have a well qualified, talented team, all passionate about making a difference to families with young children.  We have added to this skill set recently, as we are now working in partnership with Brentry and Henbury Children's Centre.

We are very proud of the social and cultural diversity of our Children's Centre.  The children and staff come from many different countries, and we endeavour to celebrate the richness that this brings to our community.  This diversity is reflected in the curriculum in our daycare rooms, our policies and procedures and our environment.

Working in partnership with families is at the heart of everything that we do.  We always welcome feedback and suggestions on how to improve.  The photographs and information on this website give you a flavour for what happens here, but this is nothing compared to coming along to experience the real thing for yourself.  If you would like to visit us then do get in touch.
